Hi all,
I'm looking at upgrading my cab and I get a big discount from fender. I am looking at the 6x10 to fit my needs but none of the stores have one in stock I have not had a chance to try it out. Its not in the review forums. Does anyone have any input on this cab? I would be using a fender bassman 300 pro to power it.

I think I used one with my old 300 pro. I say that coz it was a while ago & it May've been a Fender 810, but I think it was a 610 as it wasn't that tall.
Whichever it was, it was at a festival a few yrs ago & it sounded great.
Backline was supplied & they had the Fender cab & a GK amp onstage. I'd brought my Fender 300 Pro in case, & hoping I'd be able to use it (unless a SVT was there)
We did our set-about 75 mins, so I had a good play with the rig. I do remember thinking it was great I had a matching head/cab. & that it sounded great!!!!
The only reason I'm not 100% sure it wasn't a 610 pro is that the Fender pro 810 looks fairly squat too. But I'm pretty sure it was the 610 Pro.
I could find out by phoning the hire co. that did that festival, lemme know if you want me to.

It IS hard to go past the Bergantino NV610, but it is a different sound to the ported 610 pro

im guessing the cab was made for the head so it would make sense they would sound good together.

They sound good. Eminence drivers I believe. Pretty much the same design as the SWR 610, which for awhile was THE cab for urban gospel. If you get a discount it's a no brainer.
