Anyone have a positive experience with this piece of equipment? I have become purely frustrated with it...

Think of is less as an amp, and more as a 30lb preamp that they stuck a spare speaker on the bottom of. I enjoyed playing with the effects and things on mine so long as I wasn't listening to 30W fart a 110 at me.

I have a B-DEC and think it's pretty darn cool. What is your specific
problem with it?

They are good for what they are...The only beef I can imagine people would have with it is that it's not loud enough or not bassy enough, but that is inherent in 30w bass combos

I purchased it used and only have the quick start guide, I am still learning it's features, but compared even to my cheap-o ibanez practice amp- the sound seems muted... As if there was a cover over it...

Is there maybe a built in compressor that may be on?
