I just did some PC work for a local music shop where I have known the owners forever and didn't expect payment. Well I got a great deal on this:

Why isn't thing on the radar more? USA Eminence speaker, tilt back, tuner out, effects loop, adjustable DI, mute, and it is LOUD for 100 watts.

I got it to have a smaller amp upstairs to practice with but I can see this being taken to smaller gigs.

Anyone else own this amp?

No, but I have the 150 version. Nice-sounding thing, it is. Mine has parametric mids, though. I have also had a problem with it coming on, like maybe there's a bad solder joint in there somewhere. Doesn't do it all the time, though. I have played a few gigs with min, but found it to not be loud enough for some. Good for small, quieter gigs, though.

One other thing, does yours have a headphone jack? My 150 does, but when I plug into it, it doesn't cancel the internal speaker. What good is that?

Oh, and my 150 also has onboard compression, although I can't tell much difference while using it.

I agree. Last time I was at GC, I saw a nice old Gretsch bass. I wanted to give it a try, but some guy was playing WAY too loud and too long through a Markbass 6x10 rig. I found this little Bassman 100 on the other end of the row, just to get some distance from the other bassist. I started playing the Gretsch and was really impressed with the sound from this little guy. I guess the other bassist was too. As soon as I finished my demo, the other bassist unplugged his MTD from the Markbass and asked me if he could give the Bassman amp a try!

Seriously . . . There is a re- birth going on at Fender. My 08 American Standard Jazz still blows me away. And the Bassman and TV series amps sound great too. Now, if they would only make a fEarful type cab and micro head. I could go back to an all Fender rig.

They do make a micro head. Look at their site. Cab, not yet.

I've got an late 90's bassman 100 and I love that thing! Louder than you would expect it to be and really nice tone. Onboard compression also helpful.
