I don't doubt you miss it, but don't worry I'm taking good care of it!

has anyone tried the 100T with a guitar? I am interested in using this amp together with the new Fender Bass VI and would love to hear input for that combination.

I see that that Fender has a sample run of these in white tolex at NAMM. Looks cool but black is easier to keep clean I reckon.

I assume the answer is yes, but would this thing be way overkill for playing at home? I love the idea of the vintage tone circuit and being able to use it in 25watt mode. I don't play out much at the moment so this is way more amp than I need, but I can't help but want one. How's the tone at low volumes on the 25watt setting? Good mic'd tone for recording?

I can answer this instantly for you - it is perfect. I have one sitting in my lounge on top of a GK115 neo cabimet, amp set to 25 watts. There is no sense of it being overkill and it makes practising way more fun .

Hi Sigmafloyd, I have the 100T on the 115 cabinet for playing at home, I keep it on the 25 watt and just love the tone. I can play it very soft, or make it rattle the walls and the tone is perfect whatever volume I am on. I would definitely go for it!

Thanks for fueling my gas guys

Anyone at NAMM get pics fo the white version? I only saw a blurry pic and it looked either white or tweed. I would not be able to resist a tweed one.

Great review of the neo 610 cab with the Super Bassman in the latest edition of Bass Gear Mag just out. And a great mag anyway - I have subscribed to it finally after doing the free online viewing for the past nine issues.

That is some beautiful looking stuff. VERY nice review in the mag also! Well worth reading. Sounds like this whole line is very well thought out, and a legitimate 'other voice' to the vintage Ampeg thing. Nice!

Thanks! I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Funny, talking to some of the Fender staff at NAMM, they said that they learned more about Fender amps from that review than they had for working for Fender for 10+ years...

That's what I use. For what my band does, it's perfect. We play Surf and I'm competing with two Showmans plus a very loud drummer. I really dig the sound with a P-Bass.

I'm seriously considering returning my recently purchased Aggie rig and getting the 100T/410. Anybody wanna try selling me on it? What do I get from this rig that I don't get with the TH500/SL112x2? Tone wise I mean. FWIW I have never owned an all tube amp and I really do want one.

Besides 100 pounds or so, a more 'Fender' tone than 'Aguilar' tone

Seriously though, if you do a lot of studio work, that 100T has an impressive feature set for recording, and of course, if you dig the tone of power tubes breaking up, no SS amp will give you that.
