| | | | has anyone tried the 100T with a guitar? I am interested in using this amp together with the new Fender Bass VI and would love to hear input for that combination.

| | Registered User | | | | | I assume the answer is yes, but would this thing be way overkill for playing at home? I love the idea of the vintage tone circuit and being able to use it in 25watt mode. I don't play out much at the moment so this is way more amp than I need, but I can't help but want one. How's the tone at low volumes on the 25watt setting? Good mic'd tone for recording?

| | | | Hi Sigmafloyd, I have the 100T on the 115 cabinet for playing at home, I keep it on the 25 watt and just love the tone. I can play it very soft, or make it rattle the walls and the tone is perfect whatever volume I am on. I would definitely go for it! |

Anyone at NAMM get pics fo the white version? I only saw a blurry pic and it looked either white or tweed. I would not be able to resist a tweed one.

Funny, talking to some of the Fender staff at NAMM, they said that they learned more about Fender amps from that review than they had for working for Fender for 10+ years... |

Anybody wanna try selling me on it? What do I get from this rig that I don't get with the TH500/SL112x2? Tone wise I mean. FWIW I have never owned an all tube amp and I really do want one.

Seriously though, if you do a lot of studio work, that 100T has an impressive feature set for recording, and of course, if you dig the tone of power tubes breaking up, no SS amp will give you that. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
