I currently have a fender bassman 135 with matching 2x15 cab that I may trade for a eden metro DC210xlt. I guess i am posting this to get some of your opinions on this matter.

I definitely keep the rig you've got. What year is it? Only bassman135's I've seen are silverface with blue lettering like mine. I really wouldn't trade it for a 210 combo, no matter how nice it might be. The only time I'd advise getting rid of it at all is if you're old or disabled and your back just can't move it anymore.

That is a lot to haul around. I could see why you would down-size...

I don't know what EdenMetro's are worth on the used market but to me, personally, that rig would be worth a lot more. The combo would have to come with some cash. I just like those amps, still have mine and wouldn't sell it. What metal dustcap speakers are in the 15? If they're the old JBL's, a lot of guys would pay good money just for a raw speaker. Make sure you don't sell yourself short here.

I LOVE MY 135! I miss it while its getting some circuit work. I would never sell it. Real nice pairing with my ashdown 2x210 and bag end 15. (likes 4 ohms)

Those Bassman 135s sound awesome IMO, and are the best ones for actually playing BASS thru. I would use better, more modern cab/cabs like some nice 15s or something though.

Those 135s are super fat and old school sounding and get plenty loud enough for reasonable volume gigs.

I'd buy it if I wasn't friggin broke and unemployed.
