Fender Bassman 300 Pro impedance question

I'm curious if I can connect a Carvin BRX 210 4 ohm cab to the main speaker and a Mesa Powerhouse 212 8 ohm cab to the external speaker. Together they're 2.6667 ohms. If its safe to do this where should I set the impedance switch? 2 or 4? Obviously not 8. Or maybe I shouldn't even try this. Is there a chance of breaking something? Thanks!

I also have a Mesa Powerhouse 112 8 ohm cab to add if it might even out the ohms to an even 2 ohms

it should be fine set at 2 ohms.

no, but the difference between 2 and 2.66 is really insignificant in this situation. the amp really wont "see" much of a difference.

Can be done, but do you realize that your 2X10 will be getting twice the power of your 2X12 ?

I thought that may be. Wasn't sure.

Now what if I connect my carvin 210 4 ohm to main speaker.
And my Powerhouse 112 8 ohm with my Powerhouse 212 8 ohm daisy chained and then to the external speaker.
2 ohm ???

Yes it is 2 ohms, but still screwed up power distribution.

Your 2X10 will now get 1/2 your total power, the 2X12 will get 1/4, and your 1X12 will get 1/4.

Thanks for the input. I've been curious but it seems, well, stupid I guess. Right?

I have a Mesa Boogie RR 410 8 ohm I can use with the Powerhouse 212 8 ohm. That makes more sense but that Mesa Boogie Road Ready is such a tank to move. I don't mind the Bassman cause at least it's a manageable size. But that MBRR 410 will take your finger off!
