I have an '68 SF Princeton with a JBL in it that I use at home for practice( Vol on 3 ) and I love the sound of this Amp .I've been thinking lately about getting a Bassman head and wonder if any of the vintage gurus could recommend one thats got a similar circuit (AA964 ) to the Princeton. Thanks

Most Fender amps of the 60s shared the same pre-amp circuit. The ones that differed the most were those with a middle control. The bass/treble only versions were the equivalent of having the middle knob at ten.

Here's my '67 BF bassman head; I was told it was 99% original. Loud as hell, & sounds great...I traded a Wilson Bros Ventures Model (Mosrite copy) surf bass for it, & although I liked that bass alot, I do not misss it, LOL...
