fender bxr 60? anyone

im just getting into bass (switching from guitar because bass seems like a good time)

has anyone used a fender bxr 60? advice?

im picking one up this weekend for a good deal.

If you like it, it's fine. Not enough amp for a full band, but should be a decent enough practice amp.

i have a bxr100 (circa 1993), and i like it.
the EQ settings are a little funky in mine, need to get them looked at.
but overall its a nice amp, and i got it for a steal of a price.

I've owned a couple different BXR models (100w combo & a 400w head). I feel it was overlooked offering from Fender. I have no complaints about any of the BXR gear I owned. Don't expect to hang with your drummer with it, but a fine bedroom amp.

thanks for the info. i didnt plan on it being band worthy, just for practice till i get a larger bass amp when i have more cash. i pick it up tomorrow. im pumped.

picked it up his morning, plays great. nothing too loud but gets me going strong. great low end, with a tighter high end.
