any other bxr owners feel free to join the club. ill keep a running tally of members.

| | | I don't have one, but I'm on the lookout for one after hearing the BXR-25 in this clip: http://s234.photobucket.com/albums/e...t=MVI_3614.flv
I read that the Frontman 25B is a more current version of the BXR-25, so I'm going to see if I can find one of those as well. |

The line out feature IMO was probably the best perk. It made it possible to play large gigs without any issues. I also always got many compliments on my tone so, I can't complain about them.

As a small Asian girl, it's def not optimal. I just recently upgraded to Markbass products so that I don't kill myself and my band members with that huge amp.
I just found a pic of me with the amp: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php...&id=6306011877 |

Now.... the amp gets used every day! 15 years old and brand new! Its perfect for the house. |

Pretty good sound for a reasonable price, though I've been fortunate enough to mvoe onto bigger and better things over the years! |

Not too loud, but it sounded great! I miss that little thing...

It was not a bad amp.

but yes its heavy, my 60watt is 55 or so pounds.
line out feature is great, i record with my bxr currently and mic it with an sm57 copy and then line out as well

No lack of power! Sounds nice too. 10 band EQ is nice for reducing the noise of the single coils.
Do you assign numbers here?

I loved mine !! But when it came down to a live setting it couldnt cut it just not enough power. For practice & jamming with the boys it was great.
When pushed hard it would start to lose the nice sound the thick bottom-end would dissapear as well as the low mids.Everything had to be boosted constantly to get the same output.
I give it a 7/10. Others wouldnt be so nice.
I regret selling it to be honest. |

BUT I did used to go see a 'punk' ish type band & their female bassist- who had great feel- had a BXR 300watt amp & 410 cab & it sounded GREAT!!!! HUGE!!!!!
