Fender M-80 compared to TB-600 or 400pro

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone have any experience with the M-80 bass amp? I want to get a newish fender head but one that has the similar tone to the old M-80 bass amp.

Was thinking of the TB-600 or someone else mentioned to me the 400pro.

?? any ideas

Either the TB-600, (or TB 1200) or the 400Pro are better amps than the M80. The TB series include Fenders TBP-1 preamp, which is regarded very highly as a great sounding pre. The M80 was a 1980's solidstate amp, with not much power, and a fairly thin tone overall.
