Fender neo 810 vs Fender pro 810 HELP please

Hello lovely people.
I used to have the pro 810 for many years with the bassman 1200 pro (sunn..if you remember) and i thought it was the best rig i ever had in my 20 years of playing.

Now i am back in the market, i will get a couple tb 1200 and a 810 so could anyone help me ..even opinions between 810 neo and 810 pro. Knowing about the specs doesnt tell me really much i am looking for opinions. I will be honest when a bass cab goes on diet it is suspicious to me or am i just crazy...? I am not looking to save a few bucks just to have that tone

I have learned a lot from this forum and it is lovely to see people getting involved. Thank you

If only the speakers differ between them then the loss of weight is because neodymium magnets are much lighter than ferrite magnets. Nearly all of the weight in a speaker is in the frame and the magnet and a much lighter magnet allows the frame to be lighter also so the speaker is much lighter in total.

I don't know if internal bracing was changed or the type of wood used to build the cabinets changed. Those both could also result in a reduction in weight.

I really can't comment on the difference in tone between a neodymium speaker and a ferrite speaker because I have never had the chance to make an A-B comparison of them in the same cabinet.
