Fender Pro 400 2x10, GK 1001RB 1x15, or GK 400RB head?

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a used amp that would be loud enough to play with drums and eventually for some gigs. I've been looking around and I've found a Fender Pro 400 2x10 combo for $370, a GK 1001RB 1x15 combo for around $300, and a GK 400RB head for ~$100 (which I would have to buy a separate cab for, haven't found one yet...any suggestions?). Which of these do you think is the best option? Thanks a lot.

If anyone has any experience with any of these amps I'd really appreciate your opinion. You don't have to have tried them all or give an in-depth comparison. Any advice on any of them would help a lot. I know I'm a newb here but I'm kinda desperate because I have to make a decision soon or the deals will be gone. I will be playing with an Ibanez BTB575 5-string, and occasionally with my 2-string slide bass in honor of Mark Sandman I made from my old Ibanez GSR200, if that makes any difference. Thanks.

I would always recommend a seperate head/cab setup just for the sake of having options. I do not have personal experience with the GK 400rb, but it would definitely make for a good starting point. I would also look for some other amps in your price range including Hartke, Peavey, and possibly the older Acoustic models.

When looking at cabs, I would always go for something with 15's in it. I currently have an older Yamaha 2x15 cab that I picked up for $75. While it is heavy, it nails the old school rock tone perfectly. Also, people are always looking to unload old, heavy gear. Finding something older will save you some money.

Good luck.
