Fender Pro Series cabs

Anyone have experience with Fender Pro series cabs, specifically the 410 or 410/115 stack?

Mainly for club level work and some med/large outdoor venues, covering rock, classic through 90's. I also do sidework doing blues and country. Instruments are P and Jazz 5 basses.

I use and own the Fender 810 Pro and the 215 Pro. I've been selling off my Ampeg cabs due to the quality and sound of the Fenders. I am not sure about the 410 pro still being made maybe it is but in any case the fender pro cabs are of great solid quality..............................I did notice that Samash is carrying the 610pro and the 810pro but not a 410pro. There are other Fender cabs out there, etc. . . . . good luck ......

Not sure if they're still making 'em or not either....I just came across the entire pre-owned 400pro stack in a local shop, but I was with my wife on another mission so I didn't have a chance to sit with the thing and play it. Looks like it may have been traded in, so who knows, it may even be junk. Curiosity is drawing me to it however. Not really interested in the amp, but the cabs......I could use 'em if they're worth it. Currently, looking to change up my "smaller" rig (gk1001rbII and GK 115rbh). Love the GK amp, but the 115rbh is just not my cup of tea. Just seems to come across harsher than I like.

I just got the 410SL cab. NOS. I play country. This is the first ported 4 10 cab I have used which sounds great for country. The quality is great. Fender is back in the high end Bass Cab game. You should at least give them a try.

I also went from from Aguilar (GS410 among others) to Fender Pro cabs (810 Pro). They seam more focused to me, they keep tighter and don't go muddy as easy with overdrive as my Aguilar did. If you get a chance check out the cabs with the new Fender TB heads.

I seldom hear/read anything about the Fender Pro cabs. Nice to hear good things about them.

I bought two 410 cabs years ago when they were discontinuing them, so I got pretty good deals.

First the slant cab, then I realized that I’d have a difficult time matching it if I wanted to stack another, so I ordered the straight cab.

Went to smaller/lighter for bar gigs.

Now they’re pretty much my music room rig until we do something outdoors.

I’d do some more research about mixing a 410 with a 115, as you might find the 410 will overpower the 115.

Just a thought.

Are these cabs generally 4-ohm cabs or was there an option for the 8-ohn config??

Good to know. If it was only 4's the local deal would've been a deal breaker.

Aloha!
