Fender Rumble 100 vs GK Backline 112

Sign in to disble this ad
I currently play with a Rumble 100. It's a pretty decent amp for what I do, and I'm not gigging right now since I don't have a band to play in.

I am house-sitting for a good friend of mine. I checked out the instrument room and there is a pretty nice GK Backline 112 sitting in there (totally unused I might add). Plugged the 3EQ Stingray w/ flats into it and I am becoming very fond of this amp. So much so, that I am considering proposing a straight up trade for this bad boy.

Does anyone have a good amount of experience with the Backline 112 (or 115) and have any opinion on it? Also, would YOU do the trade? Its a hell of a lot smaller and lighter, but same wattage (and its a GK ...).

It would do the trade in a heartbeat. I've heard a lot of good things about those amps.
