Anybody have any thoughts on this amp? I can get it for about $150 and when I played it seemed great. I really need a new amp anyways, my Hartke B200 is awful and has almost zero headroom and has been on the fritz lately. Thoughts, comments, etc. would be appreciated.

$150 is a great price for that amp... is that used? They seem to be $300 new. I guess the question is if you need to have that Fender logo for bragging rights. I recently bought a Fender 12" bassman 150 and was hugely disappointed. The board was so bad, it had to be completely rebuilt by Fender. Indonesian manufacture... and I wonder if the Rumbles are too? (just sayin').

Above all, that red blinky Rumble light show seems like (to me) an eye-rolling cheesy gimmick to sell amps to kids.

I'm not sure yet if I'm a Carvin fan, but their MB15 250W at $400 seems pretty convincing. made in US, etc. All is my humble-rumble opinion.

I have had a Rumble 100 with the 15" in it for about 4 years. I use it for recording.
It has been a great little amp with plenty of headroom for my use.
I dont know how it will stand up to a loud drummer & guitarist in a band / gig setting.
Great for practice or lower volume situations.
Yes the red pulsating light is a little cheesy, but kinda cool in a dark studio...
$150 used is even a good price - if it's in good condition.

Thanks guys, I think I'm gonna pick it up. I'd be getting it new and at a price like that I really can't refuse. I really liked it and I'm just picking it up until I get a job and can save up for something better.

That's a fantastic price.

I have a Rumble 100 and love it. It's kind of my second practice amp.

It's a great party amp, too. Just plug in an iPod. It sounds great!

My only thoughts on that are that it does not sound nearly as loud as most other amps in that same range. I remember a Crate BT50 and an inexpensive Peavy blowing it away a couple years back. But the price is OK. Try to play one side-by-side with another amp with the same size speaker and see what you think.
