Fender Rumble 410 - Does anyone have the specs?

Sign in to disble this ad
I know that myself and some other TB members emailed Fender about this cabinet looking for sensitivity and frequency response numbers on this cab. I never got a response beyond automated confirmation and it's going on a month. However, I think most of us can agree that a 500w RMS neo 410 coming in at 73 lb with even just decent frequency response and moderate sensitivity would be a good deal at it's street price of $300.

So... why can't I find these numbers anywhere? Is Fender jumping on the Bugera bandwagon? This cab is marketed as 1000w despite carrying a 500w RMS rating and the other numbers are nowhere to be found. I wouldn't mind taking the plunge on one if I knew what it really was... Meh maybe I should buy this and the equally mysterious Bugera Nuke and run "3200 watts" of madness into it and be metallzzzzzz \m/

Anyone know where to look or who to ask to get some info around here?

Hey,

I've been on vacation for the last little bit. I actually did get an e-mail back from Fender, but it wasn't good. They wouldn't give me the specs as Fender deemed them to be "proprietary".

I'm assuming that the specs aren't that good or else I think they'd feel fine sharing them, but I'll probably get one anyway, as I really just can't afford a $1000.00 4x10. But that won't be for at least a month from now. I will definitely compare it at the shop with other 4x10's just to see the difference. Unfortunately I may not see such a huge difference playing at a lower level in a shop without a band.

Ask the shop if you can crank it for a few minutes then! I wouldn't buy a sports car without a test drive first.

I've fixed up my rig now so that I don't need one of these but I'd still love to try them.

These cabinets where just released by Fender not long ago as a part of a new Rumble brand lineup. If I am understanding your question/original post correctly I found that you can find out more about this particular cabinet on Fender's site (http://www.fender.com/products/rumbl...tno=2347000020) and buy one for that $300 price you mentioned on Musicians Friend (http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend....net?sku=H70090). I hope this helps. They seem like pretty good cabs for the price range. They kinda remind me in look of a couple Bassman 410 cabinets I used to have.

They do seem amazing for the price. I did find one review on them where someone said he had a chance to hear it at NAMM and picked up two for his metal band. He said they're great and just as good as "high end cabinets", but I'm not so sure. I'd like to get the frequency range and speaker sensivity though.

Yeah, I already had those numbers. I want the tech specs that let us know how it's going to perform in sensitivity (loudness) and frequency response (how low it goes). Then I can compare it to other cabs and decide if it's for me.

Numbers alone are worthless without measured SPL charts and driver displacement specs anyway. And as no one publishes either there's no point in trying to make comparisons.

I'm really curious about these too. I've been without a cabinet for my head for nearly 2 years now... I'd prefer a 115x210 combo, but for half the price, this could be where I go. Just wish there was some info available.
