Fender Rumble Series blown speaker issue?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all, Just had an issue while I was practicing with my bass. I'm not the richest guy so I tend to get by with cheaper stuff...anyway, I have a Fender 2X12 Rumble series 110 (?) watt amp, just now it started squealing, sounded like something might be overheating, and the E String sounded extremely distorted. I was wondering if this could be a wiring issue, or a blown speaker...Any ideas?
Thanks, y'all

Your cable plugged in all the way? I've had amps do that when the cable is just a little bit out of the output jack of my bass.
