| I made a similar post a couple of months ago, and didn't find too many people with actual gigging experience. I did try it out at the local shop, and I really liked it alot. It made my Stagg sound good (which is a rarity), and the options on it were great, 4-band EQ, 2 distortion knobs (which allowed me to get a little distortion without sounding tinny), aux input, horn, etc.
I had a lot of poeple recommend the GK MB-210. which essentially the same combo ($100 or so more), but you can buy another extension cab if you need to, and it will give you a 410 (or even a 610 if I'm not mistaken) at 500w 4 ohms. But in my research on it, I found most people loved the GK, but I found a lot of complaints about the horn sounding very cheap, and you had to keep tightening up the screws, but everyone didn't seem to mind so much, so it must be a really good sounding combo. The MB-212 seems to get a little more praise but you can't add an additional cab to it.
I'm still shopping for my next setup, but I think I'll go with an 8 ohm Avatar cab and some 500w head. Just so I can add another amp if I need more power, and for the versatility. Plus, I've never owned anything powerful enough to gig with, and I felt that in some instances the Fender may fall short. It does have a line out for a PA. I did really liked it's tone.
What's the return policy at the store? Maybe you could buy it, gig with it, and return it if you need to.
