Settled on an old Trace preamp and Crest poweramp to go with the Mesa 2x15 with EV 15 BX's. Sounds rounder and smoother than the M9 head,

They don't make the sets any more but I have a stash of the 'B' strings! The new Dean Markley Helix strings cure all that and I will be playing them from now on. The 'B' string response is fantastic, it's just as clear and bright as the E string, something I've never heard to this degree; exciting for me! |

He's also removed his profile, minus the listing of 'world class musicians' to remind you what a loss you've sustained.

Sorry to see you go, Vail, hope you change your mind about this.

Sorry to see you go, Vail, hope you change your mind about this. | Giving him the benefit of the doubt, Vail hasn't put his best foot forward in his TB posting to date. His people skills appear to be rusty at best.
