Finally have my dream rig

So for my whole career I've been blessed with gear that has been basically indestructible.
I started out with 1970's Peavey gear that probably weighed as much as a house; 1975 200w Peavey Musician head, Peavey 4x10 350w guitar cab.
Last year I decided to downsize but stick with Peavey gear; Peavey Tour 450 head and Peavey Tour 1x15 350w Neo cab.
As I said, all that gear was basically tank-like. I never had any mechanical issues with the Musician head and only had to resolder ONE connection on the Tour 450 ONCE.
However, those setups each weighed around 140 and 90 lbs. respectively.
I really hate hauling heavy gear around and hate how much room it takes up in my car. Like, I REALLY hate it.

So I finally got the gear and setup I've really been wanting:
MarkBass Little Mark II 500w head and two Eden EX1108 300w cabinets.
The setup runs 500 watts through 600 watts with both cabs connected or 300 watts through one 300 watt cab. Power enough for ANY gig I want to do.
And the great thing is, each cab weighs 25 lbs and the head weighs 6.
Depending on the gig, I can either show up with a 31 or 56 lb rig.

Sounds like a winner to me.

I'll post pictures of the old rigs and the new one soon.

Awesome!
I also have my dream rig...Mesa Buster and a Bergantino NV610. It's so awesome to play through stuff you love. It makes performances that much more fun!

I have an 85 lb Peaey TNT. Besides bass I also play drums and hand percussion. One of the bass players that I am in a band with plays a Markbass combo. I was stunned how light it is.

Congrats on the new rig. I just picked up a new (old) bass and it' is great playing with good gear.
