Ok, I was searching in wrong direction! http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showth...62#post9384362

The "famous" Montarbo little combo of my deam was with valve pre... then I remembered about another combo that kicked my ass off I found on stage
a bad marshall 4x10 combo... I've a video of that night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bGnI5JLOco
...
So I was realizing the truth: my sound cold be get out only from a valve (pre) amp...
than I searched about used marsall combos in my area, and GOAL!!! I found a lightly used mashall 72115 a valve pre amp with a 15'' + tweeter...

I tryed and instantly realized Oh My God!!! this is my sound !!!! Yeah!!!
buyed and carrryed in my car!!!
It Sounds so organic, so full sound, so bad screacthing sound!!!
the dynamic is so powerfull (only 200w rms but 2000w peak!!!)

fortunatly I've found it just few months before starting my band's new album... I'm very exited from this sound and how it will forge our new trio funkcore recordings

I love this amp!!! I've just tryed on the last band rehersals the SOUND was so PERFECT for me!!!
we are trio bass, drum, sax, anyway need to use it with gain and master at maximum becouse my drummer is very bad and sometimes is covers me a little... anyway no peak led lighting or sound distortion the amp drived to the max doesn't have any problem (I'm using a passive jazz bass)...
the question is:
it is a 200watt rms on 8hm, If I connect the 7200 at a 4ohm cab or add a second 8hm cab at the combo, what's the total watt power?

ok the mashall dbs 7200 head works at 130w at 8ohm and 200w at 4ohm.

I've just buyed an used mashall dbs 7015 cab, and combo 72115 + dbs 7015 cab works very well and with enough presence/power, I'm really really satisfied, with a very cheap cost I've got the sound of my dreams!!! what else to ask!!!

I use one for practice and small gigs with 2x10s. Nice tone.
Adding the second cab does give it some ooomph.
