Finally ordered an amp! Peavey Tour TNT

Well, after months of looking, I finally ordered an amp. I found what seems to be a sweet deal on a demo model Peavey Tour TNT 115. Yeah, it's heavier than the other combos I was looking at, but it also has more watts and some pretty decent features. It will sure beat playing on my little 8" 15W practice combo! The amp is supposed to arrive on Tuesday and I can't wait to rattle all the windows in my house!

Nothing wrong with a solid Peavey amp. Had a 60 watt combo forever.

Hopefully the weight is an indication of solid build quality. My brother sometimes plugs into an old Peavey 118 extension cab that is old as dirt but will still hurt you when it's turned up!

Great choice for a first "real" amp. Peavey stuff is built to last and can take a beating. My friend has a TNT that is 10+ years old and is still in 100% working order. I've played through it many times and the tone is sweet though I am not a fan of large subs. Do the newer ones still have the Black Widow speaker?

I don't think they are Black Widows. The manual says something like "custom-designed driver".

after using the black widows, they changed to sheffield, because of savings reasons, and then I saw like 4 years ago they used again in some of the TNT's the black widows again, then some months ago, they said the same, "custom bla bla bla"
