Finding a good gig ready amp.

Sign in to disble this ad
hi my name is Shawn and I am looking for a good amp with my budget being like $700 for now. Been looking at the Eden EGRW264 since it is small and seems to be a solid product. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

I play all styles of music. I have a 5-string bongo musicman so I want a good amp that does good for the low B string. I don't know much technical stuff so if there are any crazy questions I will do my best to answer. Have a good one.

1) shop for used gear. 2) find an amp in the 300-500 watt range. 3) Speaker cabs are the most important- and you want the best you can afford. A 4x10 should be considered as the bare minimum. 4) Enjoy the ride.

What he said (more or less).

That Bongo is a nice bass, but the B will never sound right unless you spring for a solid cab.
