Alright, So I have been playing bass for what.. Two days now haha But have been playing guitar for 6 years and decided to try a little bass. LOVING IT!!
Now currently I have the new bass (CORT GB34A) plugged into my old 15w guitar amp.. Wont put it near my Main amp!!
I was wondering what should I buy I have a budget of up to 350 probably and i want some nice sound and some good tone.
What do you guys recommend? Thanks Jack |

Save longer + buy used = be gig worthy sooner and spend less in the long run

For that budget or a little more my personal preference would be a good used Peavey TNT in the 150 watt range, or for more firepower (always a good idea) look into some PV heads and bottoms, always stuff here on TB and CL.
Better still, a used Gallien Krueger 400RB for around 150 bucks, and then find a nice used 2-10, 2-12 or 1-15 cabinet. You'll always hold onto the 400RB as a back up when you get bigger gear. If you can get a little more coin try the MB200 for 250.
Lots of good choices out there, but get something that'll serve you for at least your average bar gig. |

| | | | I would be used for my bedroom... But.. My room is sound proof. So noise level isn't really an issue. |
