First gig with GK/Mesa

Had my first full show with the MB2-500 into a Mesa Power House 210 (the second 210 is enroute)

love, Love, LOVE this combination!

Also swapped the Super Slinkies for D'Addario Chromes (.050, .070, .085, .105). Found that the fatter D and G were just the trick to get the most out of my Stingray.

Led Zeppelin and Gerry Rafferty never sounded so good (with me playing).

I can't wait to get the paired Mesa's stacked vertically!!!

A question for those that know: Will I get any significant signal difference switching from cables to wireless?

Not with a good wireless, look into the new Line6 if you can find them in stock!

I have a very similar rig. My amp is a 700rbii and same cab. At my most recent show, I walked out off stage during a blues jam we had for someones birthday song. I found that I cut right through the mix with this setup, but my sound lacked a certain fatness that I can't describe. Have you bumped into this problem?

I can't say that I have. The gig was PA assisted (D.I. from the back of the GK, post EQ). You don't mention if you're playing an active or passive, but I just dig the three band eq on the MM.

Also, my amp's eq settings were pretty much 3:00 on everything but the low bass was dimed.

Gotcha, I use a 44-02 with flats. I run mine mostly flat with a slight bump in the lows and high-mids. My bass has a lo-mid hump with the Bart's so no need to bump that. Glad your happy man! I'm going to keep trying to sort this out!
