Possibly with the ultimate disperson/response/baffle step thing, but then again , it is a musical instrument speaker system. Goals chamge.
Curious as to crossover points/slopes, etc. but more the goal of the thing aside from weight. Close range listening? Room projection? Big stage blowing at the mic position? Some of each?

Carbon fiber layup over foam? Looks awesome. Not looking for trade secrets---I've already looked into carbon fiber but there's no way I could do it without charging money that would insure that I wouldn't sell any. My feelings were that with an epoxy/glass layup with a foam core that the weight savings with carbon fiber were small. Now if you're laying up over a form that's a different story. Which is something way above my pay grade!

I'm also located in Nashville and I'd love to take a crack at that thing. I've got a gig next weekend in a good sized room if you wanted to do a little listening.......
I think that since CF can be formed to any shape, we should definitely see a resurgence of "tuck and roll" cabs. You could also mix some glitter into the epoxy.
