Flip Tops you'd like to see

How about the Ampeg SVT 7 Pro flipped out of a Pro Neo xxxx?

For a big flip, I'd love to see an SVT 7 Pro flipped out of an 810E.

What's your flip-top fantasy? No need to confine it to Ampeg.

A 200w 4x KT88 amp with a Ampeg Pre amp that flipped out of a 4x15, and the whole stack was huge, but weighed nothing, and moved itself.

Oh, it'd also play itself.

Better yet, a 8x 8417 amp that flipped out of an 8x15....

If I remember correctly, B.P. magazine said Will Lee had a Ampeg, custom built, flip-top with 410's and a horn...it's what he's using on Letterman.
If it's got 200 or more watts behind it...that's what I'd like to see.

i would love a fliptop svt/810.

no i wouldn't

i would, however, like to see a fliptop small combo with an easily removable micro head. then you wouldn't need a separate bag for the micro head. of course, it's not as cost effective as it is to mount a couple brackets on top of a small cab so i doubt we'll ever see it.

I'd be happy as a clam to own a B15R. Closest I've had was a V4BH/SVT15e rig. Not enough to gig with, but what a sweet home practice tone.

A Sunn 200s amp in either a 1x15, or 2x12 Flip top form. Or a Marshall 2061x into a 1x15 or 2x12. They'd really only work for small stuff, or studio work, but I would LOVE either of those for home practice!

If I had any skill, I'd use the Composite Cab threads as an inspiration and make a Fliptop for my NEOpak. Well, I suppose I do have some skill, maybe even more than one, but none of them include making anything useful.

Here's a great 200w 4x KT88 amp that can drive a 2 ohm load when bridged...

http://www.ramlabs-musicreference.com/rm200.html

It's a heck of an amp, while you're dreaming...

Bridged: 2, 4, 8, or 16 ohms; or 2 X (1 ohm, 2 ohms, 4 ohms or 8 ohms)

I'll take a GK Neo410 with a 800RB fliptop please. Tilt back with suitcase style pop-up handle in the rear.
RAG, are you out there?

The head flips over and stores inside the cabinet. It is the very definition of "vintage" as it was used very extensively throughout the sixties on recordings. (Jamerson used it almost exclusively on his Motown recordings.) Even today, pretty much any studio will have one.
