foam rubber - stupid question

Sign in to disble this ad
Sorry to ask such a stupid question but I'm looking for a 12" by 12" foam rubber square to put on top of my cab because the head rattles a little without some kind of cushion there. Any suggestions for where to score some foam rubber in that size? It doesn't seem like a standard item.

Thanks!

Check out the Aurulex Gramma Pad - I use one for the same purpose and it is great. You can do it for less of course, but I doubt it would look as good or last as long. The gramma has a hard top to it and even then the heavy head has eaten into it a bit - I'd imagine it would do the same to a straight piece of foam...

Go to the camping section and get a high density foam sleeping bag mattress pad, cut it to size.

Yes, upholstery stores and many fabric shops sell foam rubber in a variety of thicknesses. They will probably cut it to size for you too.
