fusion 550 question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi
I have a few questions on the fusion 550

first and most important, can i get a good slap tone? most of what i do is slapping so i'm not to sure how the tubes can handle it.

can the fusion get the classic gk punch and growl? or has it kind of jumped of the cliff in a totally new direction?

last, and this kind of has to do with the second one, can the mids get real aggressive? i know the 700 rb ii rocks, but if the fusion can get the same growl with cleaner bass and more articulate highs that would be perfect.

Thanks!

First: yes. Tubes will not get in the way as the Fusion uses a 335V B+ supply.
Second: yes, you use the input gain to dial in what the Boost does on the all SS G-Ks.
Last: with the mid shift switch and Contour most definitely!
