G&K/Markbass question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all!

I will be trying my G&K 700RBII head on a couple of lightweight cabs this weekend. I will be looking at both the G&K Neo212 and G&K MB212.

The salesman also suggested I try it with a Markbass cab. Anybody run that combination together? I know, like the MB cabs, that I can't run it bi-amp, but I've never played with a Markbass other than in a store. Are they compatible with that type of a head?

Thanks for the help!

As long as the load is correct, any cab is compatible with any head. They don't need to be the same brands.

The only Markbass cab that I've played through and liked was the New York 604. I haven't really been a fan of the others, but you may have different ears and disagree.
