Not suggesting, just curious... Could this be used as an input for a pre (or VT Bass), similar to an effects return? Noticed that when I plugged in my Tascam bass trainer's output that it appears to be totally post-pre, only the Master has any effect on the combo's output. I'm guessing that there's something in the signal path in the G-K to 'negate' this, but have no pre's to test.

As per the manual. It cannot be used as an effects loop.
