I thought for sure they'd have it for NAMM...

I'd say disappointing, yes, but lame? Nah. Remember the reasons why... insistence on a quality product release.

Arguably, we could be upset with them for sharing dates that end up being unachievable, but keep in mind that 1.) none of the dates shared have been officially published (at least AFAIK), and 2.) these products are multinational efforts, which means unexpected delays can be imposed on them for a large variety of reasons.

Also, FWIW, I personally have a standing order for one of these myself, so it affects me, too... I do (also) care a lot about this.

Very true. I agree..It would be better for them to just state winter or spring release. I would think that quality control will be a major priority also to release a new and good product. I'm still looking forward to receiving mine. I was just really hoping for a pre NAMM release since I don't currently have an amp head.

Cool.
I saw Renaissance in '78 and the bass player was using that model.

mb fusion neo 2-12 8 ohm ...passive jazz with flats....active jazz with rounds....and a passive switch. whenever I turn my gain and volume together to 12 oclock or volume all the way and gain past like 9 oclock its all distroted and terrible sounding. not quite farting but close. the walls are shaking but its not clear. it looses its clearity as soon as you go past low practice volume. what do I have hooked up wrong? or what button do I not have clicked off? shouldnt it keep its clearity kinda loud? Do I need another 2-12 to make it more clear?

1) I never use the active setting, even with my hottest active basses.
2) make sure the cab is in full range mode attenuator straight up
3) for clean, set the master high, like 2-3 oclock, and input at about 10-11 oclock
4) treble straight up. hi and low mids at one oclock. bass at eleven oclock

for me, this is clean, clear, and hella loud.

thanks chef I will try it. my active/passive deluxe jazz is way way bassy even with rounds on it say all at even and in passive mode. my passive bass sounds clearer with 10% overwound and flats on it! thats the one thats supposed to sound muddy!

I did notice it was more clear with the volume lower and turning the gain up. and channel A is more clear.

Also: I pretty much never boost much on my active basses.

and: flats don't = mud or unclear, at all, IMO.

ymmv of course.

The input volume is your gain for the preamp, set it to clean or any form of grind. As Chef said. The Master is the overall "volume" for the amp, set this to the loudness required and leave your input volume alone.

those settings where you say is the point where it starts to get distorted. master at 3 gain at 11....but its not that loud there. its like sitting in a room by yourself practicing level. its not play with drums and guitar level. they would totally drown you out at this level.
