Here's a picture of my rig before tonight's gig. GK 700 RB II, Neo 112, and a Neo 212. Furman Power and a Korg tuner in a Gator six space shallow case. On top of the amp on a mini Power Train board is a Tech 21 VT Character pedal, BOSS bass chorus, and an EBS Multicomp Compressor, powered by a Dunlop brick. The bass is a 2012 Fender American Standard, tonight was its third night out. Please give me a number!

PS---I have no idea what those tiny insignificant boxes to the right of my amp are for.

Awesome rig. Pretty much the same setup as mine. The EBS Multicomp feels like it was made to go with the GK's.

I don't think I'll ever play my 212 stand alone again. The 112 by itself is easier to hear on stage. The difference between the 212 and 2x112's is more than just the extra wattage difference between 4 and 8 ohms...... some serious midrange cancellation happening with the 212. But throw a 112 on top of it, and it is a monster!

And really, the 700rbII pumping through just one 112 is one heck of a throaty sounding little rig! You can best duplicate that in a larger format by throwing another 112 or 212 underneath it.

Thats the perfect sized rig right there. Not to tall. Not to short. I'll have to pick a 112 up. Maybe another 212 just incase, LOL Oh and a 700RB also so I can leave my beloved 800RB safely at home.

I wonder how the 212-112 stack would work bi amping it with my 800RB, Lows to the 212 highs to the 112 ?

actually sounds like a good idea to me, but I'm no expert.... man all these beautiful GK cabs makes me want to get back to GK cabs.... I foresee me using GK amps for the remainder of my career, I simply love them!! I'm itching to pick up a coupe mb800s

Together with my Squier VM 70 with Babicz bridge CTS Pots, Orange Drop Cap, Series Parallel mod with black mini toggle switch . and classic black knobs. the knobs make it classy

I ended up cancelling my pre-order for the Fusion 800 for now and just went with the MB800. I will give this a try with my 412 for now and just wait till the end of the year to see all the reviews about the Fusion 800 after its released. Then I'll decide if I would like to pick one up. The only problem is that I don't have a Bass at the moment. I have 2 new Basses coming and I thought one of them would have been here by now I going to borrow a friends Bass tomorrow to test it out and make sure there is no issues. The head feels really well built. Cant wait till I get to test it out.

TK how do you do it? I mean you not only received "new" amp and cabinets......But two basses to. The excitement must be uncontrolable. Most are happy getting new strings , but amps, cabinets and basses, oh my.
Thanks for posting it. It looks kind of cool with the lights on over two monstrous cabs. Next time lets see it with the basses to.

Lol...Thank you!..It's just one big ass 4x12 cab
I had to sell off all of my Basses, Hartke 5210c and a Star Wars Xbox.
But its all worth it to finally get a nice GK rig and and a couple of spanking new Spectors

I will be posting pics when my Basses arrive.

I borrowed a friends Ibanez prestige yesterday to finally test it out and it sounds so Freakin Good!!!

i believe that a combination of different speakers/cabs when selected properly are like a studio reference monitor.

i once came across this small company that made a cab with 1x 12" 1x 8" and a 1" driver.
they made a "Jah" cab which was for reagae and dub.
