I find the 112 to be very pleasing and not as "thick" (which I like) but still wonder about the 15 in the mix at louder volumes.... | I think a 15 would be a nice addition. Sadly to sayI don't have his speakers. But speakers are made different or have been added in the last 30 years. What I hear about his speakers I think a 15 would give you additional bottom end that isn't boomy. I have a Audiokinesis TCw15AF and never thought I can do the things on a 15 that I did with 10's and 12's.

I'm hoping to find a simple padded slipcase - no pockets or straps needed, just something to help keep the MB from getting pranged.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I'm thinking a tablet sleeve would work, but I haven't found one the right size. |

but i agree with you.
15's are more suited to the classic rock type music I play anyway but I do like the added punch of the smaller speaker as well.... |

I didn't fallow the BL line real closely. If you email jason@gallien.com he will have the full scoop for you. Very nice fellow and usually very prompt with replying! Any time G-K makes a revision (like mark II) there is a major change. Jason can help with what the change was without relying on my limited memory .

Made to order. You can look at one here on the sales section (amps). There is an TC15 being sold for 750.00 Be the loudest 15 you'll ever play and sounds great. I have a Berg AE410 and its very close to being as loud. He isn't making he TC model any longer as the speakers were specially made for him to go 4 ohms. To expensive to make. What I have been hearing about GK 15's I would go there. Prices are great and there seems to be more than enough happy customers. Sorry sometimes I forget which Thread Im in.

I have a couple of jazz basses and love the sound.....I just got a EBMM sterling classic with a maple neck...my others are all rosewood....and its so different! I am having a harder time dialing in a tone! I have a tone dialed in that sounds like my fenders! It almost sounds like theres a little echo reverb thing in the guitars preamp...its weird. My fender on same settings does not have that at all! I really like the just before distortion sound on the mbfusion. I think you can get that sound either by putting the gain to like 10 o clock or volume all the way up and use gain as volume. that right before distortion sound is awesome!
what basses do you guys use with your fusion?

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jan 2012 Location: St. Charles MO | | | Just snagged a Backline 600 and 410BLX-II super cheap for practicing at home to replace my old Ampeg combo. It seems to fuzz out on some of the lower notes. I thought it was just my 5 string, but it does it on the E and A strings of my 4 string as well. Any suggestions? I'm not using any crazy settings or anything:
Clock Face
Level 10
Contour 10
Treble 12
Hi Mid 10
Low Mid 10
Bass 12
Boost 10
Master 3
What do you guys think? Is this the cab "farting" as I've heard some do with low notes? I should also mention the noise only happens for a second or two. If I let it ring out, the sound disappears and I have great tone again.

I'm taking it that loose panels would be too much for me to fix. And if this isn't "farting", what does that sound like? I'm just trying to learn what I can from all this. Thanks B-String! You've been quite helpful lately!

Loose panels can be fixed by you they just take some time. Remove all speakers and mark or take pictures of how the wires go. Flow wood glue (I just use Elmer's carpenters glue) in the joints where the panels meet. Let the cab sit for 4 to 5 hours before you rotate the cab to do the next set of joints until all joints have been treated unless you identify just one loose panel (press on the panels while it is being played to find the loose panel). Make sure you are not hearing room rattles, move the cab to a more open location in case what you are hearing is things in the room making noise).
I try to be helpful always? Some things can irritate but....?
