All for a super low price from GC used. Actually, lower than all in the classifieds by a good amount.
I'll get a family pic up soon enough.
EDIT: BOOM! Missing is my 2001 RB, it's sitting in storage right now. | NICE! Great mix of generations! |

| | Wisconsin Bassist Club Member #1 | | Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Northern Wisconsin | | I was going to get an MB 800 , but since I had problems with the Fusion 550 that I ordered as well as a lot of other problems with Musicians Friend in the past they offered me a new Fusion 550 for a price that I couldn't pass up. Well , my new Fusion 550 arrived and it was far from new. You could see where someone used a utility knife to cut off the previous shipping label (all the way through the box in most places. The box was obviously opened before and re-taped up and one of the corners of the box was completely ripped from top to bottom and re-tapped. When I opened the box the Styrofoam was all broken and dented from repeated use. The clear film that covers the Gallien Krueger logo was removed and there was no warranty card. To top things off - the footswitch was missing!! What a scam!!! They are passing this off as a new head!! That along with the new GK Neo 212-II cabinet that I received that looked like it fell off a moving truck a couple weeks back. See photos ---> http://s1218.beta.photobucket.com/us...20Neo%20212-II
I still haven't received my two back-ordered GK Neo 212-II cabs and it's been well over a month since I ordered them. Buyer beware - New may not actually mean new!!!
I don't even know what to do anymore. I'm tempted to just buy a used 1001rb-II and at least pay a used price for a used head instead of a new price for a used head.
Can you run two 8 Ohm cabs with the 1001rb-II?? I couldn't seem to find that info when I was reading up on them on MF.
Thanks,
P-P

They used to be good back in the day. There are plenty of good better music stores out there. RMC audio is definitely #1 for price and Customer service for GK gear though...IMO

your problem isn't with GK, it's with MF. I'd tell them you want a ups call tag for the busted junk they've sent you, your money back, and get with a better vendor.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Hudson Valley, NY | | | So goes yet another story of MF dumping "New" used gear on people. It really is a suppliers dumping ground. Need some strings? Safe. Need a strap? Safe. Need a bass or amp that isn't a factory second, restock or just plain broken? Go elsewhere. I really hope MF builds the rep they deserve and reaps the consequences of it. Such a shame and a waste of people's time.
