1. Strip a bit of cable on each end
2. Put each color cable into matching spots on both ends (are there multiple colors, and is the speakon portion labelled somehow?)
3. Tighten cable portion of Speakon
4. Assemble remainder of Speakon
Is that pretty much it? | The speakon has each terminal labeled "+" or "-". If you buy cable that has red and black wires, the red goes to +, black to -.
Once you slide the stripped/bared wire tip into the terminal, you screw it down. Once both wire ends are secured to the terminals, you basically screw the back of the Speakon, on.
It's really not hard at all.
I do find that thicker cable (12 ga or thicker) is almost impossible to get into the reminal without the wire being frayed.

Will the + and - be labelled, since I'll need two of each? Or I'll probably be able to go by where the cable is attaching to the speakon for that, as in inner - and +, outer - and + ?

I love my MB200.
Doing a small to medium gig (typical bar), would the NEO 112 be sufficient?
I ask, because I own an SWR Workingman's 10, and it struggles with anything beyond a small three piece.

Seemed to work fine and the band thought so to. One concern I had was that the Neo would be getting more power from the amp than the SWR, but there didn't seem to be any audible loss on that end...just another option! I love the fact that I can use the bi-amping and boost even when bypassing the GK's main pre with my para-driver. Are there any other amps that are capable of this much versatility? Wasn't sure if GK had the whole bi-amping market covered, or are there other makers that feature this? Can't wait to snatch up another Neo 1x15III. I know the RB700II is so beloved because of its ability to "hit the rails" better than the other RB's featuring more headroom. Next week I'm going to try my drummers series one RB700. It had its guts modified by GK to duplicate the later RB700II, with the exception of its power stage, which has slightly less headroom. Wondering if this amp is even more capable of "hitting the rails" in that awesome GK fashion.

I can get there while pushing just a single 112..... but sometimes it's nice having a couple of cones pushing air. But then you're really starting to get loud with the 700rbII. I'm really loving my 400rb for those situations.

I was playing my GK NEO 412 last night... man, that thing just kills... I know there are "new" amps that have extended lows etc but this thing was THUNDEROUS in the lows yesterday for reggae, dub. I couldn't see needing any more ever.
