Got it this morning (Fusion 500). Pretty amazing amp. I will be on the list to get the same in 800 watts. But not sure when its coming out. I will sell something first but not the Fusion 500. Its very powerful for 500 watts. At this point it pretty much fits my needs. Rattling my house. Enough power for the TCw15AF. Wanted a micro amp and was tossing between this and the TH500. I think I made a good choice.

Was it the micro MB fusion you got?

Good question. The MB Fusion is a micro head with 500w @ 4Ohms. The Fusion 550 is a larger head.

Which is it?

I'm betting MBFusion, since there is no Fusion 800 on the horizon that I've heard of.

You are correct there was a Fusion 1050 in process once. I have not heard any mention of the 1050 for a couple years? Was a 2 space head and 14 lbs IIRC.

Maybe with the 550 putting out 836 watts burst........the 1050 was cooking speakers?

Yes the Micro fusion 500. I love it. The more i play it the more comfortable I am getting. Have not had something like this in a while. I really love this amp. I like it better than I thought I would. My first GK. Very happy. I feel bad as i got it and played it a while i heard about what happened in connecticut. Im kind of bumed out by it and hard to get the playing feeling. I have a small child and I just can't believe what is happening so close to home. Whats going on in this world. Artist like everyone on this site Im sure are sensitive to it.

I did asked about the fusion 800 and he wasn't sure about when it was going to available. Got my amp from RMC Audio. Great place. The fusion MB500 is good for now. I think it has plenty of power. But playing this I have no doubt I will get the Fusion MB800 also. This amp is above my expectations. Therefore the 800 will have all the power i will ever need. But at this point the 500 is enough with the cab I have. I appreciate listening to everyone on this thread. What I was hearing it just seemed like something that was a good fit with me. Playing it now. Looking foward to tomorrows gig. Gig got canceled tonight. Double booking. Hate Club Owners.

Power-wise I doubt many need the Fusion MB800 if they have the MB Fusion 500. It's loud enough to get you thrown out from a bar. Maybe if you do large stage shows and then it's better to get in-ear monitoring or something similar.

Now, the MB800 Fusion has some control changes that are nice, though.

I agree to an extent. The 500 is very loud. But I wonder if the headroom of the 800 would make a difference. Also its taking a long time for it to come out. What I understand it was supposed to be out last june. Must be something going on. But when it does it may be something to check out. But right now I am really happy with the Fusion MB500.

Just to close the door? G-K Micro Bass Fusion
That is what the MB abbreviates.

I wish I never would have sold my Gelien Kruper NB Fushion. Regretted it every day. I have my 400RB, 800RB, MB200 and MB800 to hold me over though.
