Gallien Krueger 1001 RB-II 110V->220V

Hello, fellow Tb-ers.
Recently I purchased a Gallien Krueger 1001 RB-II (110V) in US.
And as far as I live in Russia( we have 220V here) I need to re-wire the amp to 200V. Please advise, how can this be done.
I looked through several threads about the issue, but didn't find specific answers..
Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm no electrical engineer, but I'll hazard a guess that it really can't be done - not without replacing major components. Perhaps the best course of action would be to get a professional-quality voltage converter - the type specifically engineered for use with powerful musical instrument amplifiers.

That's all I've got...

You will need to move jumpers and transformer leads in the amp. Fuse values will need correction also. I strongly recommend an amp tech do this. PM me with an email address I can send the schematic or contact jason@gallien.com for schematics.

You should be able to find a 200-220VAC to 120VAC transformer anywhere, really. It needs to be able to handle the current, but it's really not a big deal. It can be mounted in some kind of electrical box, for safety. If you're still here, buy a couple of receptacles (outlets, a junction box with cover plates and some power cord so you can install the plug once you get back.

If your power grid uses 3 phase power connection to the home and businesses, you'll need a converter- that's when it can become more expensive.

You could also contact Gallien-Krueger to find out what you need in more specific terms.
