I know this is a longshot, but I was wonder whats the difference in sound between the 2 and if its enough to warrant the 100 dallar price difference?

Also the mbe is 800 watts rms vs the 400 on the mbx. I own a 212 mbe and I am very happy with it and its weight  .

|  | Registered User Edorsing artist: Gallien Krueger , Brubaker Guitars | | Join Date: Sep 2010 Location: Sparks NV | | | The 212 combo seems to be really popular , and I think that all started because of a weight issue , more output than a 210 , or a single 15 .and less weight than a 410 . plus the 212 when driven pretty hard has a really nice grind to it , but it does give a little away in the upper mids compared to a 410 and a 410 is more in your face.I should have said out of those two cab selections that the drivers are voiced the same. the whole mbe series cabs are super lightweight. If there wasn't a weight issue i would probably still be using an svt tube head and a 810. but the weight of that is just to much for me now days , and I don't really need it.I would probably recomenmd the MBE series just for the weight and power handling and the cost. |
