I bought this cab from a friends brother a number of years ago for $20 (a steal). I've had it sitting in my room for quite some time but was just recently curious enough to do some research into it. Only problem is I can't find ANYTHING on this cab. Will someone help me, I can't seem to find anything anywhere about this cab and I would like to know a bit more about it. Mr. Gallien, your input would be greatly appreciated!!!

| | | | You may want to consider that it may not be gallien-krueger, i've seen a few cabs like that but most are 415's and 412's. But i could be wrong, so hopefully someone new will see this. |

Wikipedia says that GMT was what GK was called before it started being called GK. Maybe you got one of GK's first cabs from back before 1983 when they changed their name. If so then thats a great score. Gallien-Krueger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
That is a huge serial number though so i dunno. Hopefully some one else will chime in soon.

And don't go killing it and blowing out the speakers just 'cause it was $20...
Those look like the drivers in my 210T.

All I can say is that it came before the 400B amp, which was the predecessor of the 400RB. A lot of the stuff they put out back then doesn't match up to what they produce today. I once had a full analog graphic EQ that was a GMT. Bob normally goes for the 4 band active EQ for many reasons, the fact that my graphic EQ was like 8 bands was very unusual for him. Does it sound good?
You're only real good chance of getting info on it would be to maybe email jason@gallien.com or hope someone who owned one back in the day comes along and chimes in.

Bob | This is why TB is so excellent.
And GK is why it's so easy for me to dial in a good tone on a gig.
