Hi there !

I would like to know if someone had already test this combo ?
I'm searching a new amp and I saw it, but there is nothing about it !

By the way I have a musicman stingray 2 BE and I play rock/pop. I often heard that stingray and GK are really great stuff, will I get this same awesome sound with the MB 212 combo ?

Thank you !

Good Luck! I have one and love it.

Hey,

Another question, because I read the thread you give me, and they talked about the 2x10 combo. Do you think it's better to have a 2x10 with a 1x15 or only a 212 ?

Thank you !

I have a Ric 4003 (passive) and it sounds huge. I am sure a musicman will sing through it. It has both active and passive inputs.

I did have a problem with it missing screws on the main board, but it was fixed under warranty. I am sure by now GK has resolved the issues with the initial run.

I don't think you can go wrong either way (210 + 115 vs 212), but I went for the 212 as i really only want to lug one amp around, but keep in mind i don't gig either. I just play in garage/basement bands, but from what I read, the 212 will handle bar type gigs, so I should be good. The 210 + 115 will probably be louder due to being able to move more air.

You may want to read that thread, and post some questions in there. There are some folks in there with much more experience with these amps than me.

Good Luck!

I have this amp, and I think it is great! The tone is great, and it is plenty loud! The horn fuzzes, but you can't hear it when when you play. At 12 o'clock on my master and 8 o'clock on my gain, I don't even need a sub to move sound. I have to turn it down when I play with the local pepband. Trust me, the mp is fantastic!

Best part: 38 lbs., you can't go wrong.
