Question Gallien Krueger MB115 not working?

Sign in to disble this ad
HELLO, TODAY I GOT MY NEW GK mb115 combo amp, and it sounds very good, but I have 2 doubts .
The first one is. Why is the cooling fan not moving? does it only start cooling when the amp gets heated or is it faulty?

And the second one is. Why does the horn make so much noise? When i turn it on it starts making a very weird sound which makes it impossible to play.

And even like this I love the sound of the amp and the volume .

Thanks for the help. XD

I don't think there is a fan. Turn the horn off.

If it has a fan....
G-K amps use temp control on the fans, they only come on when needed.

Positive, temp driven and variable speed is the way RAG (Robert Gallien) designs his amps.

I have a GK MB210 and I never knew there was a fan in it. Thats pretty cool. And ya with your horn just turn it off. I don't like the horn anyways.

I also have a GK mb115 and the horn is ****. I remember accidentally having it on for a rock gig, first song turned into a disaster
