Gallien-Krueger Neo 115 versus Neo 115 III

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi All,

I just picked up a used GK Neo 115 cab from Craigslist. This is the first version at 300 watts. I figured it was a step down from the newer version of this cab, but the printed specs looks better for my original Neo (except for capacity).

Here's some excerpts -

Original Neo 115 - 54 lbs, 104db sensitivity, 36 Hz to 19kHz Freq response

Neo 115 III - 63.5 lbs, 99db sensitivity, 46 HZ to 19kHZ Freq response

Makes me wonder if the specs were misprinted or something.

And yet the specs I listed for the Neo 115 III came straight off a pdf manual at the Gallien-Krueger website:

http://www.gallien-krueger.com/manua...ers-Manual.pdf

The specs I listed for my original Neo is off a printed manual, currently sitting next to my computer.

This is all messed up. Musicians Friend is listing the Neo III at 300 watts, everybody else at 400 watts. Not that it matters, but it would be nice to get the real specs.

I guess I'll just not worry too much about it
