Sign in to disble this ad
hey guys/gals, so i just ordered a gk 2001rb, and i was debating getting the neo 410 and the neo 212. does anyone know if this is a good set up? and expirence with this setup? Over the past 5 years ive been playing through a gk 700rb and a 410 and 115 sbx cabs, just a little too heavy, and the 15 doesnt really work witht he 10's.

any help would be appriciated

i can let you know in about 5 more days...i JUST picked up my 410 neo cab, and ordered the 212-II neo to pair up with my GK700RB-II amp.....ive done a lot of research on this combo and was weary at first, but it has way better reviews than the 412, 2 410's, etc.....this is what some call, the meat and potatoes as far as GK neo cabs go....

im still needing to eq my 410 to the jam room i play in(15x12 small room)...but this alone is a beast.....i can not wait till the 212's are finally here!

GK Neo 212

I am not too familiar with the GK410 or gk2001RB, haven't used them so I can't comment on them. I do however have a few months experience with the GK NEO 212. I have it paired with a Markbass Little Mark III. With this setup I have done a few shows with both my Metal and Jazz bands. It fits in great with either. I am pleased with how well it keeps up with the Marshall halfstacks, and loud drumming, of my Metal band. I also love how much easier it is to load into my car than my old 410.
Of course this is all IME and YMMV.

I have the same dilema.
Should I pick 2x 410 2x212 or 212.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about the 2x212 setting.

Yhym.

The 412 is to heavy for me at the monent.

I heard that the 410 lack mids and it's my consern. There's no place in Oslo where I could try 'em out. I thin the only thing is to wait until summer and go abroad and try them somwhere else, but then I have to wait long befour I can buy them:/

I'd go with a pair of the 2x12.
