I have been playing for over 30 years and have tried just about every brand on the market. I currently use a GK 1001 RB-II, HK 115RBH and 410RBH. I tried Mesa Boogie and didn't like them. The customer service at GK is excellent.

Mesa cabs are very well constructed, but also very heavy.
Their switchable crossover is also very versatile for tone shaping.

Out of all the Mesa big(ger) cabs, I like the 215 the best. To my ear, it has the perfect balance of mid detail, punch, and bottom.

The 412 has a little more bottom and less mid. It also handles more power than the 215.

Disclaimer: I do not own any Mesa cab; I've only play them as back-line powered by a 400+.

Mesa cabs sound great, but they're heavy and expensive.
I'm currently trying to get rid of mine for something a bit smaller and without a tweeter, but it has served me well for a number of years without so much as a hiccup.
