so i have narrowed it down to 2 choices. either the mb fusion and the neo 4x12 or the 1001rb and the neo 8x10. which ever i can find a good deal on first of that 4 part combination. yeah i changed my mind about the big sized cab. i decided that if i want that big headroom, i have to buy big. better to have too much than not enough and that's going to be plenty

Go big bro, you can't go wrong either way, but I vote for the 4x12, I love my 12s!

Then get that. I also have a Neo410, and it's a great choice, as well. Play what supports your personal preferences.

thanks tom. a few have mentioned the 12's are a little mid forward and not so boomy than the 4x10. if that's true, then that's the one im looking at. always want a little more burp than boom boom if for bass drums lol

Yup, that's why I suggested the 12's in the first place. But hey, if you know you don't like the 12's and you love the Neo410, then get what you like.

But yes, I agree that the Neo112-II and Neo212-II will give you better presence in the mids. And the 8-ohm 212 is hella loud on its own. Plus, you can add another 8-ohm cab for bigger gigs.

But again, don't let me tell you what to do...

Post what GK gear you have, we love pics, but not necessary.

Ask for a number, as there are some people who don't want one.

And wait................sometimes for a very long time:

G-K

I just purchased 2 G-K Neo 2-12 cabs, and I will just say they really kick serious arse!

I have had a DNA - 4-10 and love the deep low end, and the high end. But something was missing, not to mention the weight of the cabs and the freaking handles.
But someone mentioned "more burp than boom" and that is so true.
These box's are just tighter and sound great in the mix.
At first I was struggling with the sound/tone, but then the light went on. It was all there.

Very impressed after 10 gigs!

Do you think there are any downsides to stacking them on end like that, Chef? That does seem the way you'd want to do it, as it gets more height. But I wonder if they're meant to be used in a certain orientation...?

I never use them the other way, so, no real comment other than to say "I can't imagine a downside."

Hey Chef - do you prefer the neo112s with the 1001 or the Baers lurking in the background?

Depends what day it is; they're both really good stuff; but:
the GK's, with the 1001's biamp feature is a nice thing.
