Laying today and pop white noise only comes out. Gallien wants me to send or bring it to a repair shop 90 miles away.hell it is about a pound would not be much postage..here is my issue other companies send you a ra number and UPS it back. Well I will keep you all informed about how this turns out. Too bad it has been an awesome amp. Too bad it has to go to a third party to be looked at.still under warranty too.

I read your post three times, and don't understand your question. Are you asking for opinions, or just have an axe to grind?

What I got was " take it to a repair shop". Since I posted I get a e-mail and they now will send a RA after I fill out a repair request form. did they read my post or did one of you guys call them?

They probably read your post and kicked a little bootah.

My first GK was a 800RB - bought it in the mid-80s - had distortion issues - GC did a swap out - moved on to SWR products until buying my first WW in 1995. I decided to try out some of GK's new micro amps over the last 5 years or so - MB500 broke down, had to send it to GK for repair, sold it - tried the new MB500 Fusion, distortion issues, had it fixed at a repair center, sold it quickly while it was still working - have a MB200 now, but haven't used it much because I bought it strictly as a backup - so, for me, GK amps are just not reliable and I'm done with them. Meanwhile, my Woods Ultra fires up every gig every weekend with no issues.

I love the amp just that today in the middle of a song it just died. I hope to get it fixed.so far no bad mouthing GK. I got a machine that broke and we will see how this turns out for me. I am happy they are requesting the amp back. I did not want to go to a repair shop for a new amp.again Brian is right on top of this. Sounds like a good man so far.

| man, sorry but just for clarity's sake: here above you disregarded the first part you instead mentioned in the very first post. They told you to actually "send it": maybe they intended "send it to the main G&K repair location or go to the place 90 miles away"?
In either cases it seems they were absolutely willing to take care of it. Thank God!
