There's a name you don't see everyday. When I was a kid playing in a band with my parents we had Garnet pa speakers or powered mixer maybe....something Garnet anyway. It's still in their basement and as far as I know, still works.
Buy it and quickly. It is a very rare, collectable amp with great power from 6 EL34 power tubes generating over 200 watts RMS. Garnet was Gar Gillies of Winnipeg , Canada's second most famous amp builder next to Pete Traynor. I have used several low power Garnets and they are very fine. Respectfully, I would disagree with a prior comment about point-to-point being hard to service. It is way easier! Think about the purchase this way- where can you get a vintage high power point-to-point hand wired tube bass amp > 200 watts for < $1000 ?
Garnet was used by (among others) the Guess Who. They're beautiful amps, and as for price, consider that a new Peavey VB-2 which has pretty much the same tube compliment and power runs about US$900.

not exactly the same thing, but I have an old Garnet 1x12 guitar cab, and I absolutely love it. Great build quality.
