that's a pretty common flamenco-cum-gypsy style he's got going. well, common for gypsy music, i guess.

I would suggest you get a 1-year warranty from Music123 on it - those GK combos have had a lot of failures out of the gate as did the MB series heads.

If you call them up they'll probably let you get the coverage. Sorry to be such a wet blanket but the fail rate on brand new stuff is often really scary.

It's a long story but the MB212's aren't readily available at some of the bigger online dealers like Musicians Friend or RMC Audio. I ordered an MB 212 from MF and they kept delaying the shipping date so I canceled my order with them and went with RMC Audio. They had 2 of them that came in 3 days after I ordered it but both had some kind of defect where they would distort at low levels, almost like there was a distortion channel switch that would engage, but it didn't have a distortion channel so they shipped both back and now I'm waiting for their second shipment. It should be here this coming week, or so they say. If it doesn't come this week I'm canceling my order with RMC and going with The Perfect Bass. They said they could get one within a week. Oh, the drama!!!

Yep, that's why I haven't canceled my order completely and bought the MB 210 combo at the GC here in town. Man, it's so tempting though. That 210 sounds soooo nice but I don't think it's worth the $1100 they're asking. $700 is more in my range.
