Played a SM9.2 yesterday, next to my SL900.
I haven't had GAS for an amp since I got my SL.
Now I do. sigh...

Tunaman and others:
I'm trying to figure out which of the GB heads Streamliner 900 or S. Max 9.2 would be better for a clean and deep tone for Reggae. Do you have any tips? Very few music stores around me have any GB products let alone both of these at the same time.
Thank you.

In my experience with these two amps, I'd have to recommend the SM 9.2...

To my ear, the 9.2 covers more ground and is a bit more flexible sonically

I'm about to get my shuttle in the mail today DD But I'm at university so I'll have to wait 'till Thanksgiving next week. Anyone have some nice knob ideas for a really deep sound with a stingray... nice, clean, bottomless low end

If anybody is on the fence... I ALWAYS recommend the 9.2max. I love my Streamliner but its not versatile like the 9.2max.

I do like my Streamliner for Reggae though. For Reggae I'd make sure to find the right cab 1st then go amp that works with it best. I'm sure you could order both from a good company with a good return policy & chose for yourself

I've got 2 stacks, both fEARful. One is a 1515/66 and the other is a pair of 12/6's. Each stack is a 4 ohm load.

12.0 here with a GK NEO 412. My only complaint,.....I really can't see adding another cab to take advantage of the other 600 watts!!! Maybe I'll find someone to swap the 12.0 for a 9.2,.....or maybe I'll just continue to be happy with how great this rig sounds!

Voodoo- that's what I did , sold my 12.0 for a 9.2, big difference in low end plus better wattage match

Guys with fearfuls, no brainer shuttlemax all the way.

I agree completely! I got a 9.2 but kept the 12.0 as a backup

I have a SM 12.0 but I should have got the SM 9.2 for more power to my Neo 2x12.
Had the SL 900 but didn't dig it.
If any of you need to drive two cabs and want to move your SM 9.2 , I'm open.
